Is amazon.co.uk down right now?

amazon.co.uk not loading? Try these steps

If our check shows amazon.co.uk is up but it won’t open for you, the problem is most likely between you and the site. Work through these in order:

1. Reload the page properly. Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) to load a fresh copy.
2. Try a private window or another browser. This rules out browser extensions and out-of-date saved files.
3. Switch networks. For example, turn off Wi-Fi on your phone and use mobile data. If it works, the problem is your Wi-Fi or broadband.
4. Restart your router, then try again after a minute or two.
5. Clear cookies and saved data for amazon.co.uk in your browser settings.
6. Still not working? If our check shows Down or Mixed, the problem is at the site’s end. Waiting a little while is usually the only fix — the site’s owners are often already working on it.

What the results mean

• Up — every location we checked from got a response.
• Mixed — some locations got a response and some didn’t, which usually points to a regional or network problem.
• Down — none of our locations could get a normal response.
