Who we are

What happens when you run a check

The web address you type is sent to our server so it can contact that website and report whether it responds. We don't ask for your name, email or any account, and we don't keep a record of your checks linked to you.

Your recent checks

The “Recently checked” list is saved only in your own browser (using its local storage) so it's there when you come back. It never leaves your device and we can't see it. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Cookies, tracking and ads

We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your data.

Services we rely on

• Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and may keep short-term technical logs (which can include the address you checked) for security and troubleshooting.
• Globalping runs our location checks. We send it only the web address being checked — never your IP address or any other information about you.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Your browser fetches them from Google, which receives your IP address when it does.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we don't store checks against individuals, we usually hold nothing that identifies you. To contact us, write to HelpMe Safety Ltd at the registered office above.
